Humboldt Community Services District is currently filling the following positions:

Utility Services Planner/Engineering Technician II (one position): 

HCSD is seeking motivated and service-oriented candidates for the full-time position of Utility Services Planner/Engineering Technician II to support the planning, design, and inspection of the District’s water and sewer infrastructure and provide critical customer and contractor interface.

Utility Services Planner/Engineering Technician II ($41.41 - $50.33 per hour) is a journey-level position that serves as the District’s lead representative for development-related planning, inspection, and coordination. This position works with contractors, developers, and other agencies, performs plan reviews, leads field inspections, and administers programs such as source control, backflow prevention, and cross-connection control

Utility Worker I-II-III (one position): 

HCSD is seeking motivated and service-oriented candidates for the full-time position of Utility Worker to engage in tasks related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of the District's water distribution system, wastewater collection system, pumping facilities, and water storage reservoirs.

The District will fill this vacancy at the Utility Worker I, II, or III level, depending on the successful candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and demonstrated abilities.

Utility I - Entry Level,  5-step Salary Range ($24.45 - $29.72 per hour)
Utility II - Experienced Level, 5-step Salary Range ($28.63-$34.80 per hour)
Utility III - Senior Level, 5-step Salary Range (34.77-$42.27 per hour)
